You will learn effective combat skills, successful strategies and life-saving tips for you and your family.

About The Course


As detailed below, this comprehensive course is spread over4 one and half hour sessions to give participants time to assimilate, practice and develop their newfound skills. No matter what your build or skill level you will significantly benefit from this course:

  • Posturing - Don't look like a victim; Learn how to carry yourself especially if you're being intimidated or followed.
  • Strategies - Learn successful non-violent responses that can diffuse a confrontation.
  • Adrenal Response -This is usually known as the "fight or flight" syndrome. Experience the stress of a simulated attack and become better prepared if such a situation arises.
  • Dealing With Abduction - This section alone is worth attending the course! Learn simple, hard-fast rules that could save your life.


Combat Skills

Nowadays, most martial arts have become commercial and sport orientated to the point that their techniques would be useless in a real situation, even if executed by black belts.

You will learn practical, effective techniques that will quickly disable your opponent. All techniques have been tried and tested by petite women against bigger, stronger men in a simulated confrontation - they really do work!

  • Releases - We will teach you non-aggressive and one-shot releases from common holds that will quickly bring down your opponent
  • Groundwork = Learn how to escape from being pinned down. Defend yourself from being kicked or stamped on while prone.
  • Knife Self-Defence -Attacks involving knives have become prevalent in our society. Taking on someone armed with a knife is very dangerous. However, we will teach you effective techniques just in case you have no choice.
  • Other Skills - Participants will be taught how to dodge as well as kicking, blocking, hand, elbow and knee strikes. Most techniques will be practiced on pads to develop power, timing and accuracy. You will also be taught how to read an opponent and develop your reactions.
